Sri Lankan Companies Report Strong Financial Results for Q1 and Half-Year 2026
Hayleys Group reported a strong start to the financial year, with Consolidated Revenue from Continuing Operations increasing by 38% year-on-year to Rs. 179.32 billion. Consolidated Profit Before Tax (PBT) from Continuing Operations surged by 61% to Rs. 10.15 billion for the three months ended 30 June 2026.
Sampath Bank also delivered a strong financial performance for the six months ended 30th June 2026. The bank reported a Profit After Tax of Rs 16.6 billion, reflecting a 13% year-on-year growth.
