Colombo District Land Values Increase by 5.9% in First Half of 2026
Land values in the Colombo District experienced a moderate increase during the first half of 2026. The overall Land Valuation Indicator (LVI) rose by 5.9% year-on-year, compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
This growth was observed across all three sub-indicators of the LVI. Specifically, residential land prices in Colombo increased by 6.7% during the first half of 2026.
The overall land value index also went up by 5.9%.
