Namal Rajapaksa questioned by FCID; challenges President on secretary allegations
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa appeared before the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) on Friday, September 21. He provided a statement to the FCID, which lasted for approximately five to six hours.
The questioning by the FCID was reportedly in connection with the purchase of the Tangalle Bay Hotel, using funds allegedly obtained from Channel CSN. Rajapaksa had responded to a summons issued in relation to this matter.
Separately, Namal Rajapaksa, who is also the SLPP National Organiser, has called on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to take action regarding allegations made against the Presidential Secretary.
